Feeling bummed and anxious

I have to reschedule my appointment. I was supposed to go to my surgeon on June 3rd... this is the third day of my orientation for my new job. I can not miss work for this and can not request off. When i get my schedule I will make the appointment. I might see if I can go the same day as my husband on the 17th. then I will just tell them that on that day I need off but I'm also anxious because I have to call human resources tomorrow and find out if the insurance covers bariatric surgery. UGH. Please keep your fingers crossed and say a prayer for me. I need it.
