K. Robert Williams, MD I first met Dr. Williams at the informational seminar about 6 months ago. I felt like he was all about business and very knowledgeable.
I don't have much background information on him professionally and am leaving it up to Dr. Boyce to only offer superior fellow surgeons. After meeting with Dr. Williams again recently, my impression has not changed much. He is armed with lots of necessary facts that were very helpful in easing my mind. I guess the only thing I could possibly say that maybe he could work on (as could many other Drs) is to show a little bit more of his personality - maybe a smile or a laugh would do. (Edited to say that he has come out of his shell a little more each time that I have seen him. He has even talked about himself and I am glad to know that he can try to relate to me as an obese person. Very happy with him as my surgeon!)
Premier does have a structured aftercare program. Dr. Williams mentioned that this process is team work and that my end of the deal starts after his ends. This is so true and I really never thought of it like that.
I feel that both competence and bedside manner is necessary. I feel like in time Dr. Williams can prove to me that he is both. (Edited to say that he has shown me more and more of each of these aspects.)
