So I have been depressed for the last 2 weeks because I didn't feel I was losing as much as I should have, especially having the Bypass instead of the Band. I went to see my Surgeon today (first visit since my surgery) as soon as she walked in the room and saw me she said "Wow, you look great! You look so fit " I was so happy. I thought it was only me noticing since no one else has really seen me or said anything. She said she was suprised I had lost 35 pounds already seeing I wasn't that big to begin with. She said I should be happy with what I've lost in 4 weeks. Now I am! I was thinking I was failing and it should have been coming off faster. She said with all the working out I was doing and watching closely what I was eating was helping out as well. I knew that in the back of my mind but you know it's always nicer to hear it from someone else I'm going home to Jersey tomorow to see my parents and brother for the first time since surgery. They havent seen me since I was 50 pounds heavier so will see what they think
