Dogs - I love my german shepard jersey she is my baby always and forever

Fishing - fishing is one of my me times just being out in nature

Friday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench!

sept 13th two week mark
Well,
I'm at my two week mark after surgery and I'm down 15 lbs. I am so happy. The only thing is that I don't see any weight gone and I've lost a total of 45 lbs . I guess if I was smaller I would beable to but it's ok I feel better. I''m still having alittle pain nothing that I can handle yesterday my husband and I went to walmart and the mall ( that was fun). I walked some but most of it was in a wheelchair cause of this darn pinching pain . But we got what we needed and I made it home in one piece. Brian was great with me even when I was so great to him . Pain can make you mean . I try really hard not to bit his head off and I cry when I do but he just tells me it's ok . I love that man with all my heart. Had my first piece of solid food today tuna steak. It was good. Didn't have any problems but I took it slow and chewed it like crazy, I will blend everything eles . The only reason I didn't the fish is because it was so soft and falling apart it was kinda like it was blended. But all is well at the Funk household . Getting better and stronger everyday. I want to say whooo hoooo for my girl jessica h who just found out she got approved. God is great.
