Zorn M.D. Well when I went to the orientation in Anaheim and met Dr. Zorn, I was like hmmm I wonder if he's going to be my surgeon. He was kind of nerdy, but in a good way. Then after asking some questions and hearing his response's I was like OKAY, I want him to be my surgeon.....and Praise the Lord I got him. He's sooooo sweet and show's alot of concern when he talks to you. I am sooo looking forward to my surgery. I have read alot of good things about Dr. Zorn and his staff, and I can't wait to post my own comments after my surgery. Member Interests

Hi, My name is Julie Lopez and I live in Boyle Heights, CA(E.L.A.) It's 1 week before I go to my Pre-Op appt. My surgery date is Monday June 9, 2008 and I am so Pscyhed about it. I am looking so forward to the weight loss. I wish eveybody the best in their weight loss as well. Let's continue going forward and being as successfull as we can be. My Story Hello to my fellow Bariatric Friends, My name is Julie(Jewels) and I will be having Gastric Bypass Surgery on June 9. I have been overweight most of my adolescent life. I wish I could go back to those high school years when I was just the right size, but reality is there is no going back. These past 2 1/2 years is where I've gained most of my weight. I'm tired of being the way I am. Yes, Im a bubbly person, always will show you a smile and probably may seem to have it all together but on the inside, Im hurting, frustrated, depressed and just finally sick of how I look. I know that God made me a beautiful person inside and out, but it's time to actually see it on the outside. Going to my doctor's last Aug, 07 was the best thing for me, He referred me to the Options program at Kaiser in Downey, where I became a member of "Track 28"-woo hoo!!. There I met a wonderful group of ladies that went through some of the same things I did and no longer did I feel alone! I am looking forward to my surgery and ready to continue on my journey of successful weight loss. Will keep in touch!! take care & god bless!! |

Okay,so it's the nite before my surgery and all is going well, accept for all of a sudden, Im starving!!! been on the liquid diet alllll day!! but it's all good, it's worth it. I'm about to start packing my bag for tomorrow!! My family & friends are sooo supportive !! I am truly blessed!! Well, I'll be in touch soon!!! Love, Julie
