Hi Conijo, I was just looking at some of the profiles on obesityhelp.com your profile connected with me. First, CONGRATULATIONS on your weight loss. You truly look WONDERFUL!!!!! Well I had the Lap RNY on 3/27/03 and the day of surgery I weighed in at 341lbs. Well today I'm almost 9 months post-op and have only lost about 65lbs since surgery. I exercise about 4 days a week, I drink over 60oz of water, I get in about 90gms of protein and I take my vitamins every day. I do all of the above but I'm still a very very very slow loser. Because of your success, I just want to know if you can share with me what is a typical day like for you? Angel reporting for duty. I just spoke to Conijo. She is already in her room, doing great, but in alot of pain. Her best friend is her morphine pump :::smile::: I will check back with her again later this evening and update her progress.

Hi Conijo, my prayers are with you. All is going to go just fine. Musk is going to update me tomorrow. Hopefully my surgery will follow shortly after yours. We can recover together.

We've chatted for over three years .. but who would've ever thought our paths would cross here. I'm so glad they did. As all us post-ops know, getting to this point is a very long and arduous task, but the worst is behind you now ... and the best is yet to come. In the coming months, I'm gonna sit back and watch the butterfly emerge from the cocoon as your new life begins. Always remember I'm just a phone call or a keyboard away. Good luck to you tomorrow, gf ... you're gonna do just fine. Can't wait to talk to you "on the other side." And just think ... you'll soon be a loser just like me :::wink:::
