THANK GOD!!! THANK GOD!!! THANK GOD!!! THANK GOD!!! THANK GOD!!!
Yes,yes,yes, god truly gets the glory and all of my praise.

Today is April 18,2007 so i'm 5 days post-op. 
Day 1) My husband,my son,mother,my twin and her daughter  we all made it to the hospital early of course no-one was there until right at 5:00a.m. I was called first paid my 0 pre-hospital costs(which was 0 a day that was kind of a shock to me. good thing they called me the day before to let me know) The i.v was okay but that blood thinner shot really hurt. The Anestitia doctor came in and talked for a minute and i was off. I'm not sure exactly what time my surgery begin but i know it lasted 3 hrs. I was also in recovery for a minute because of b/p problems once they got it pretty stable i was able to go to my room. They had a hard time moving the bed it had some bad wheels on it.  My sister wasn't feeling well so once she saw i was okay she headed back home. I can recall hurting really bad the first time i got up(kinda in my lower back area) I couldn't urinate so i end up with a cathera for a little while.

Day 2) No appetite whatsoever.Had several visitors. Everybody knows that i just love candles so that's what i got.I just fell in love with that pain pump it works well i started using it to much and had some kind of episode where i was so high i couldn't stop talking and started itching real bad The nurse gave me some benadryl and i slept that off. I woke up a different person.


Day 3) Still no appetite. Very impatient,ready to go home my doctor gave me a good report and said that i should b going hom Monday April 16.Yippee!!! which i wasn't gonna rush him but i was ready.

Day 4) I woke up early,took a shower and walked for a while waiting on the doctor He released me about 9 something.He said that my appetite would b back before i knew(that was so hard to believe b/c apple juice and a few crackers was all i was able to eat) My sister came to pick us up my husband had left Saturday so he could go back to word but my mom and my son was there the whole time. Trying to b all hard i didn't take the pain pill the nurse offered me so u can imagine how my ride home was. 

Day 5) It's kinda weird b/c i don't really know how i feel. I try to make myself eat a little something,i walk around the house,slept under a fan so i think i have a slight cold and ohh boy does it hurt to sneeze. One minute i feel great, the next i feel like just screaming for no reason at all. The pain is okay with the help of a few pain pills. But over all if i had to do it again i would because it's wasn't so bad. I was blessed to have no complications so far, besides my b/p being a little elevated.
I will stay posted regurlarly now that i'm home and doing well until then  ~~~~~
