I am 53, married, mother to 3 sons, 1 step son and 1 step daughter. All 5 of our children are adults, and DH and I are the grandparents to 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. DH is a tax manager and we also have a tax business. I work for the County Board for the Mentally Retarded as an SSA. Jim and I both ride Harleys and love it! and I SCUBA dive. I have lost 126 pounds and am amazed at this journey. On 11-6-07, I had a lower body lift, breast lift with 330cc saline implants filled to 360cc. I feel truly blessed and fortunate that I was able to have all this done. Thank you to my amazing husband - Jim.

I've had many years of struggling with my weight. Then one day, a co-worker showed me a flyer on the lap band and I was so excited. We called our insurance company to be told that if you meet the guidelines for WLS, then they would cover it. The list was long, but we both were approved on the 1st appeal. My friend did have the lap band surgery and I had a RnY. Questions, feel free to ask! |
