Nursing Duties

Well, my DH has the nightly nursing and changing badges every other day on the groshon down pat. He's like a regular sexy nurse! :) My nurse comes on Mondays and does changing and draws blood. Yesterday my blood sugar was 40! I haven't been compliant with checking it regularly (2 times a day) but now I'm going to go back to checking it twice a day. Last night it was up to 148 and today it is at 147. I have been having problems with no appetite and can go all day long with nothing to eat or drink. This is such a problem for me! I need to be working daily at trying to get food and drink in and getting my pouch back to eating again.
I went last week to see Dr. Weinstein and I got a second opinion.
He says I will probably more than like have to have a reversal and said my doctor has done and continues to do everything right that is possible. I just wanted a good quick answer! I am tired of being sick!! But I would still go through all this again.. without a doubt.
It's been a ride - what a ride- and I KNOW I would do it all over!
I am stalled on my weight loss right now because of the TPN's (which is food through my central line in my chest). But hopefully with time that will be so much better!
My friend, Brandy saw Dr. Weinstein today and she's having the surgery soon. Please pray for her!! God Bless You ALL!!
