Surgeon Testimonial Dean J. Mikami, M.D. Dr. Mikami is very friendly he did not make me feel bad for being so overweight. He treated me with respect. He also has a great bedside manner and a sense of humor, which is important to me. The Staff was very friendly. Made me feel welcome to be there. f you are scheduled to see Dr. Mikami you will find him very knowledgeable. He explained the good things and the risks of the surgery. After care he stressed was very important. He said he would not release me if I could not take care of myself. He advised how many times I would be seeing him after the surgery. I would rate him a 10 out of 10. Surgical and bedside manner.. he gets a thumbs up from me. Member Interests

My Story All my life I was overweight. Now that I have had this surgery and have lost over 110lbs. I feel so much better health wise, and I am building the confidence I never had. I have 2 children ages 15 and 12. They are my life. I had this surgery for me and I also did it for them so they would have their Mom around longer in this life. My family and friends are very important to me. My friends I have made here on OH - You are all truly amazing and I don't know what I would do without your love and support. (((HUGS))) to all of you.
