I've been overweight all my life.  I have tried WW, hypnotist, curves, gym memberships, liquid diets,deal a meal, programs through my insurance company etc..... I am the co-leader of my tops chapter as well.  How can I help lead a group to make healthy choices, exercise, and take care of their over all health when I cannot do it.  Well, I can do it- just cant keep it off. Anyways, I checked out the lap band about 2 years ago and went to the seminar and everything.  I was so geeked. Then I decided, that I needed to give it one more try before taking the jump.  Anyways, I'm about 30lbs heavier since then and I feel that the Lap Band is the tool I need for permanent weight loss.  I know how to lose weight, just need help being satisfied and keeping it off.
My surgery is on my birthday- when the doctors office called I couldn't believe it. I feel this is a new beginning or rebirth for me. This is a new chapter in my life and I'm so excited to get started. Thank-You for your support, and I wish continued success to all that have begun their journey!
