Surgeon Testimonial John Gonzalez -My first impression of Dr. J as I call him was \"Wow, he's young? How much experience does he have?\"rn-Now, I am so blessed that I chose him as my surgeon. He's simply the best around and I love him dearly for giving me my life back!rn-His staff at Innova Hospital are fantastic. They are a small office so everyone knows you and is very friendly. You get treated with one on one attention and never feel like a number or a nuisance.rn-If you are thinking of going with Innova and Dr. J know that he is going to work you. He only does surgery if he feels your committed to the lifelong changes you will have to endure. He is hard core and will not tolerate crap. But if you're doing what you're supposed to...he's your #1 fan! Plus, he's absolutely hilarious!rn-There is a very structured aftercare program in place with Innova including support groups.rn-Dr. J wouldn't even operate on me until I brought my weight down some. He was concerned about the size of my liver. He made sure and put me on a strict diet to decrease the size of my liver and thanks to that, my surgery went off smoothly and successfully.rn-If I had to chose Dr. J again, I would do it in a heartbeat. I would recommend him to anyone seriously committed to changing their life for the better. rn-I think both his surgical competence and bedside manner are outstanding and he comes very highly recommended! Look out world, here I come! It's about time I start living the life God intended for me! A quick thanks to all my many supporters and even those who didn't believe in me. Thanks for allowing me the chance to prove you wrong! Here's to my biggest fan club... Demond, my amazing hubby, whom without I would not have been given the opportunity to undergo this procedure (Thanks KCI!) My parents and my family who remain faithfully by my side. My best friends who keep me in good spirits. (Vicky, Jerry, Michelle...you're the greatest!) My boss and coworkers and last, but not least, my 20 wonderful students that give me the strength to keep going knowing they need me.

I just had to share my appreciation and love for my DH who's been the greatest cheerleader a gal could ask for. Through this whole crazy journey, he's been here with me patiently. 
A note for the pre-ops out there...having a strong support system is crucial to your success especially the first few months out. Whether it be your spouse, a family member, a friend or OH please make sure you surround yourself with good positive people as you embark on the ride of your life. If you ever feel like you can't find someone like that, don't despair...CALL ME! I'll be here to cheer you on and share in your every WOW moment. 
Wishing you all the support and hope I possibly can and here to remind you that you are doing the very best thing to become the very best you!
