A Pre-Paid Legal Life Events Legal Plan SM gives you access to quality law firms for $26 a month or less.

Have you ever...

Been overcharged for a repair?
Received a speeding ticket?
Been audited?
Purchased a home?
Tried to return a defective product?
Lost a security deposit?
Signed a contract?
Prepared a will?
Even though most people find themselves in these situations, the majority do not seek the advice or help of a qualified lawyer. Why?

It may cost too much.
They may not know where to begin.
The process is intimidating.
You only get as much justice as you can afford. If you don't know your rights, you simply don't have any! The top 10% of income earners can afford to have a lawyer on retainer and are accustomed to asking their lawyer for advice before making decisions. What about you?

With Pre-Paid Legal:

You know who to call.
You're treated like the firm's most important client.
A one year membership costs $312 or less.
You are empowered by knowing your legal rights.
Without Pre-Paid Legal:

You may try to handle it yourself.
You'll likely receive as much justice as you can afford.
You may pay hundreds of dollars for ONE HOUR of a lawyer's time.
If you don't know your rights, you don't have any!

Pre-Paid Legal "levels the playing field" in the justice system. With a Pre-Paid legal plan you can say, "I'm going to talk to my lawyer about this." -- and mean it!

Pre-Paid Legal makes it possible for Pre-Paid Legal members to prepare a Living Will, and update it yearly at no additional charge through the Pre-Paid Legal Forms Service Center.

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to say "THANKS" for all your support. Everything is going great, and I will go and get my 2nd adjustment on May 30th. I have gone down two sizes, but I have not lost any weight. I am working out a few times a few, and I put on about 6lbs of muscle, but other than that I am the same weight I was when I had my surgery. My doctor said that if I keep working out that the muscle and weight loss will balance itself out, and I will be able to see better results. I told him that I have had to go through and give away my clothes twice, my face has gotten smaller, and believe it or not I actually have a collar bone (smile), but as soon as I get on the scale nothing has changed. It's only been two months and one adjustment later so I know that I am still in the early stages. Again, I want to say thanks to everyone for their support and your continued success as well, and I am going to try to post more often, and give an update after I get a feel for my second fill.

Update
on April 7, 2008 6:23 pm
I am so sorry that I have not posted for a while. I want to thank everyone for your well wishes, and prayers especially Ms. Dana K, I really appreciate it. I am now four weeks out on week number five from my meal plan, but I have gained 6lbs back of what I lost when I was doing strait liquids so I was a little down about that because I am not sure if I gained it back because I am eating regular food again or if I am going over board with the regular food.

No worries because I was not down long, I have since joined a dance exercise program called B-Risqué Fitness which is teaches you strip tease, Latin dance, fun aerobics, sexy cardio, pole 101, plus size pole, and so on. I go for my fill on the 28th of this month so with B-Risqué Fitness and the fill, I should be good to go in no time.

I Feel Great
on March 21, 2008 10:01 am
I really do feel great. It’s been a week and two days since my surgery, and I don’t even feel like I had surgery. Monday was a little rough for me because they made me do the liquid diet 1 week before surgery so by the time my week was about to wrap up after surgery, I was mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted because I had absolutely no food in my system and everyone knows you need food for energy. I called my doctor, and they told me I could go ahead to week two of the program, but I must admit I have included a couple of things from week three as well. I mainly do my shakes and Flintstones vitamins and felt 100% better from Monday. I went online and about a scale and my first appointment since the surgery is Monday. I am excited to see my progress. The only thing bad that has happened to me is I had an allergic reaction to the pain medicine which just caused me to break out in hives, but nothing a little itch cream can’t take care of. I will keep you posted for Monday.

Things are still going good
on March 16, 2008 10:12 am
It's been four days since I had my surgery (Wednesday 3/12/08), and things are going well. I have been off my pain medication since Friday because I felt I did not need it anymore. I drove a little yesterday because I had some errands to run for my sister and daughter, and I also took my daughter to see Horton Hears a Who since we had not gotten a chance to spend a lot of time together. I went to church this morning, and now I am resting. I plan on going to work in the morning if I still feel up to it. The only thing I am noticing which I noticed from the next morning after my surgery is a taste of blood in my mouth. I am not alarmed however because blood is not coming from anywhere. I can spit, go to the bathroom etc.., and blood is not coming from anywhere. What I think it is, is like when I got my tongued pierced, the tissue/linen died as tissue does, and then it comes out because when I first saw it on my tongue I thought it was puce and infected before I was told what it was, and when I woke up this morning, I had the same little pieces of blood tissue linen on my tongue like when my tongue was healing from being pierced, but that was it. This only happens to me first thing in the morning, but this morning was the first time I got the small pieces of tissue linen that probably came from my stomach. I still am not in any pain; I only feel where the port is, and this aggravating gas that won't go away fast enough. I have not had to change any bandages or anything like that because I never had any. All my incisions were covered with liquid Band-Aid so even that’s been pretty easy. I will keep posting my updates. I go back for my first doctors’ appointment on 3/24/08. I have been a little hungry, but I am trying to learn mind over matter.

It went very well
on March 12, 2008 7:21 pm
It's about 10:15pm, and I am doing fine. I went to the hospital at 1:00pm because my surgery was scheduled for 3:00pm, but the lady before me had complications so I actually did not have my surgery until a quarter to 6:00pm, and was discharged at 9:30pm. I feel fine, but I don't like the gas build up. I am going to lie down because I am still a little sleepy. They only gave me one prescription, and told me not to drive for a so I'll see what happens.

My Story

I am a 28-year-old female, and I love myself some “me”. I have always been on the heavy side every since I was a child, and it was not until I turned 25-years-old that I fell in love with me. I have a daughter who will be 8-years old in March, and I have my 15-year-old sister who has been with me for five years now since our mother passed.

The reason I am getting the surgery is because almost everyone who has had health problems on both sides of my family has picked them up in their early 30’s, and where I can’t say it was all because of the weight, I know it definitely plays a big part in it. When I went to the doctor, I told him that I wanted to be smaller, but I wanted to still be in the double digits when it came to my clothes. I would like to go from a 18/20 to 20/22 to a 12/14 to 14/16, and I would be just fine.

I have been told that my target weight should be between 160lbs to 175lbs, and that would be a weight loss of 69lbs to a 84lbs weight loss, and with me being 5ft 1in, I think you would notice a 70lbs to 80lbs weight loss. I don’t have a whole lot of issues or insecurities nor do I eat when I am depressed. I have actually put on weight because I don’t eat. When I am really stressed, I can go up to 3 days without eating and on top of that I almost never eat breakfast.

My primary doctor told me that not eating is just as bad as binge eating because they both slow down your metabolisms. He said when you don’t eat your body goes into starvation mode, and then when you finally are hungry and you have that one really big meal where you eat until you get full, your body then takes most of that and store it as fat because it does not know when it will get again, and between that and an almost stopped metabolisms, that’s why I put on the weight. That’s my story and hopefully the surgery will help me because when I am stressed, having a protein shake will be enough for me.
