A Pre-Paid Legal Life Events Legal Plan SM gives you access to quality law firms for $26 a month or less.
Have you ever...
Been overcharged for a repair?
Received a speeding ticket?
Been audited?
Purchased a home?
Tried to return a defective product?
Lost a security deposit?
Signed a contract?
Prepared a will?
Even though most people find themselves in these situations, the majority do not seek the advice or help of a qualified lawyer. Why?
It may cost too much.
They may not know where to begin.
The process is intimidating.
You only get as much justice as you can afford. If you don't know your rights, you simply don't have any! The top 10% of income earners can afford to have a lawyer on retainer and are accustomed to asking their lawyer for advice before making decisions. What about you?
With Pre-Paid Legal:
You know who to call.
You're treated like the firm's most important client.
A one year membership costs $312 or less.
You are empowered by knowing your legal rights.
Without Pre-Paid Legal:
You may try to handle it yourself.
You'll likely receive as much justice as you can afford.
You may pay hundreds of dollars for ONE HOUR of a lawyer's time.
If you don't know your rights, you don't have any!
Pre-Paid Legal "levels the playing field" in the justice system. With a Pre-Paid legal plan you can say, "I'm going to talk to my lawyer about this." -- and mean it!

It's Time on March 11, 2008 9:20 am
Yesterday I went to the hospital to register, but my doctor put me on a strait liquid diet for the past week, Wednesday to Wednesday which kind of worked out because I still ate small amounts of something just to take away the hunger feeling, but I still lost 6lbs in four days. I check in tomorrow at 1:00pm and I have my surgery at 3:00pm. I am asking for your prayers, and I will try and post something tomorrow if I can.

Everything is a "GO" on March 5, 2008 11:40 am
I went to my pre-op appointment yesterday, and everything went fine. The appointment was to tell me the results of all my test which would determine if I could still have the surgery, and everything is a "GO". I go in to registra on Monday the 10th at 8:00 a.m., and I am scheduled for surgery Wednesday (3/12/08) at 1:00 p.m. the doctor told me I have to go on a liquid diet starting today becasue I have to be on liquids one week before my surgery, I don't like it, but I will be fine. Did anyone else have to do that?

My 1st Steps on February 13, 2008 10:05 am
I am now waiting for all the information to be submitted to my insurance, and I have been given a tentative surgery date of March 12, 2008 which is also my daughter's birthday.
Wanting to get everything done quickly, I scheduled and did all five things below within a week:
•Chest X-Ray February 2, 2008 (Had it down at the hospital)
•Arterial Blood Gas February 2, 2008 (Had it down at the hospital)
•Nutritionist February 5, 2008
•Cardiologist February 6, 2008
•Therapist February 6, 2008
January 28th
I went in today for my initial appointment weighing in at 244lbs, down from 256lbs. After Dr. Moran's examination of me, he decided that I did not require much. Below is all that I required:
•Nutritionist (Required)
•Cardiologist (He said because I once had a smoking history)
•Therapist (Required)
•Chest X-Ray (I'm not sure why I had the X-Ray done)
•Arterial Blood Gas (Check to see my oxygen level in my blood)
January 9th
I went to the required seminar to see a presentation. At that presentation you were able to get all your questions answered by the doctor himself, and someone from his staff took a copy of your insurance card so they could call your insurance company ahead of time to see if this was a surgery they covered, and if so they would call you within a week to schedule your initial appointment. I WAS TOLD TO BRING in DOCUMENTED WEIGHT HISTORY SHOWING THAT I HAD BEEN OVERWEIGHT FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS SO I BROUGHT HIM MY O.B.G.Y.N RECORDS.

My Story
I am a 28-year-old female, and I love myself some “me”. I have always been on the heavy side every since I was a child, and it was not until I turned 25-years-old that I fell in love with me. I have a daughter who will be 8-years old in March, and I have my 15-year-old sister who has been with me for five years now since our mother passed.
The reason I am getting the surgery is because almost everyone who has had health problems on both sides of my family has picked them up in their early 30’s, and where I can’t say it was all because of the weight, I know it definitely plays a big part in it. When I went to the doctor, I told him that I wanted to be smaller, but I wanted to still be in the double digits when it came to my clothes. I would like to go from a 18/20 to 20/22 to a 12/14 to 14/16, and I would be just fine.
I have been told that my target weight should be between 160lbs to 175lbs, and that would be a weight loss of 69lbs to a 84lbs weight loss, and with me being 5ft 1in, I think you would notice a 70lbs to 80lbs weight loss. I don’t have a whole lot of issues or insecurities nor do I eat when I am depressed. I have actually put on weight because I don’t eat. When I am really stressed, I can go up to 3 days without eating and on top of that I almost never eat breakfast.
My primary doctor told me that not eating is just as bad as binge eating because they both slow down your metabolisms. He said when you don’t eat your body goes into starvation mode, and then when you finally are hungry and you have that one really big meal where you eat until you get full, your body then takes most of that and store it as fat because it does not know when it will get again, and between that and an almost stopped metabolisms, that’s why I put on the weight. That’s my story and hopefully the surgery will help me because when I am stressed, having a protein shake will be enough for me.
