Okay it finally happened, I got approved. and I swear I could have thrown up right there on the on the phone. Not sure why, but got sick to my stomach.  The nurse said  it was normal.. Well,  I just can't believe it is really happening. I have to call her back to pick a surgery date. I am not sure how much help will I need at home? Remembering I have 4 boys under 5. My husband can take off a week or so. My sisters are going help as well. My MIL and hubby's Aunt also said they can help out. I just need to pick a day. YIKEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS. I am so nervous!
I called my Best friend to tell her, and she is less than supportive, has been this way all along, so I try not to tell her too much. Except for today I was excited, she said nothing when I told her. When I said that's all you're going to say, she said " it's great, I know it's what you wanted" (said in a monotoned way) I just changed the subject. She doesn't understand, having NEVER been fat, had any children or have a thyroid problem.  She  is  one of those who think, just diet and exercise, that's all you need do. Right.. Whatever.

Finally decided...

I finally made the call to Dr. Teel office and told them I made the decision. I am choosing the BPD/DS.  AND I am scared shitless.

Sleep Oxygen test results are in!!

I called to get the results back. 

AND as I expected I DO NOT HAVE SLEEP APNEA!!


Dr. Teel lost the bet and now owes me a gift card to a some restuarant- hopefully it won't be Taco Bell. We never discussed where it would be from.  I am actually wondering if he will follow thru with it.
