Camping at Silverwood Lake...

I graduated from Daytripper to Camper... wooohooooo!!!!

So, I went camping up at Silverwood Lake this past weekend with awesome people from the OH California Forum, and it was great. I was loaned a tent by a wonderful couple. I got up there on Friday afternoon and got my campsite all set up with help from the same couple that loaned me the tent. Had dinner. Sat around the fire pit and talked for hours. About 7pm we all needed to bundle up in jackets and blankets because it was soooo freaking cold! Finally got to bed about 11pm, but it was so cold I couldn't sleep. Just when I had finally drifted off to sleep, the people at the campsite enxt to me got up and were making a bunch of noise. They weren't there with our group of campers, thank goodness! When they finally left to go fishing, I was able to get a couple hours sleep. When I did get up on saturday morning, I wound up with charlie horse cramps in both legs because it had been so cold the night before. As soon as I felt the muscles tighten up, I took 2 muscle relaxers and they started to go away in about 15 minutes. The back of my left calf is still extremely sore.

Saturday the weather was really nice. It was warmer than friday. We basically relaxed all day. A few more people joined us for the camp out. It was another day of great friends, good food and fun talks. And S'mores!!! lol We had chocolate and caramel marshmallows, regular and sugar-free Hershy bars and graham crackers. Yummo!!

Sunday I was able to sleep in until about 8:30am and loaded up my car with the stuff that was inside the tent and moved my car over to the bathroom area since I had to be off my site by noon. Went to the main campsite and sat with everyone Then it was time to tear my tent down. I got up to walk with the couple who loaned me the tent when I got this huge wave of dizziness. I couldn't hear or talk. I was able to do a 'controlled' fall so that I didn't hurt myself. I think I freaked everyone out. I sat where I was for a couple minutes then one of the men helped me up and I felt the earth revolve again so they sat me back in my chair. I felt so bad that I couldn't help tear down the tent. I stayed at the campsite until about 2pm and then came home.

It was a great time, and I will soooo do it again! Can't wait to see pix from the weekend.

Disneyland in September

My birthday is September 13th and I should be getting a card from

the House of Mouse to get in free. I would like to get a bunch of

people together to celebrate with me. It is on a Sunday, but it can

still be a lot of fun. So, who's in???
