Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.
I had struggled since high school and thought this is just how it has to be. I was disappointed in myself for not having any self control. I felt like such a failure as a person. Even when my grandson who is 5 said, Mawmaw your big, knowing he was just saying what kids his age say, it hurt so badly I wanted to cry.

Cigna approved my surgery on Monday so I did not have time to call.  YEAH!!!!
So now it is just wait until April 21st.  I will start the Liver Shrink diet on the 7th.  I am happy and scared at the same time.  I know everything will be okay but as the time gets closer I kinda get that "oh mercy" feeling.
