OK so I've said I would Not weigh for a few weeks, my Intestines haven't completely waken up since surgery, I have 3 hideous drain tubes (had 5 but got 2 out today) and a heavy hot binder I have to wear, my Scales have caught my eye for a few days now and I thought no, wait for a while, all the fluids, anesthesia and everything I mentioned above will add to the  scales but I couldn't stand it any longer so I stepped on and I was Down 11 pounds, I thought No this Can't be right, I thought maybe 5 or 6 and it was -11 since last Friday morn, I weighed before leaving for the hospital...

Plastic/Cosmetic Surgery

I had Brachioplasty and Panniculectomy Friday May 30...I have to say Sat & Sun were tough but Thankfully Sunday night I started feeling better, I've been able to walk around much better and able to get in the shower today (mon).  My arms look Great, my R arm is much tighter and more swollen than the L, the L arm feels like I had nothing done to it, maybe I'm just trying to use the R one more, my abdomen looks good too, it is Flat, the staple line makes me Queasy to look at it so I just lie back and let my husband and my RN Brother deal w/ changing the dressings, these drain tubes are a hassle to deal with, I have 5 in all,  but drain tubes are a Body's Blessing to have, helps rid of all the excess waste from surgery, I have a binder on, Sure wish I had one after my RNY I Recommend anyone having any type weight loss surgery to have one whether  or not your surgeon recommends one, had I had one after my RNY I would have gotten around much better, this has been a life saver.
I took before pics and will ask DH to take some of my arms this afternoon and hopefully get them posted on here today.  I've bought two tank tops can't wait to get them on, right now I'm just wearing gowns, I can't even get panties on w/ all these drain tubes (3) in my abdomen so I'm walking around in sleepwear, I'm wondering WHAT I'm going to wear to the doctor Thurs, I get these drain tubes out, I have a sundress I suppose I'll wear then I can take clothes to put on, especially underwear, I dont like going Commando...
I'll post pictures later.
