As of Wednesday Sept. 12, 2007 I am 3 weeks post-op, including the 1 week pre-op diet I am down 29 pounds, AWESOME !! I have been on soft diet since 6 days post-op and so far nothing has made me sick, I eat scrambled eggs w/ either cheese, salsa, or SF Jelly on them, crisp bacon, Morning Star Sausage patty (10grams protein), Deviled Eggs, Cottage Cheese (preapred along w/fruit, splenda), Bocca Burger (20grams protein) w/cheese and sautee'd onions, My Favorite- Bush's Chili w/cheese in it, Homemade Potato Soup w/cheese and Bacon in it, Rotel/Velveeta cheese sauce w/ Soy chips. KFC Chicken leg w/ few bites of (side) Mashed Potato. Scrambled Ground Round w/ taco seasoning, salsa, FF sour cream, Carl Budding "deli" style meat, Cream cheese mixed w/Splenda (yummy), Peanut Butter (Reeses Brand) and Crackers, Vegetable soup w/ Peas, Kidney beans, Lentils, Baked/Broiled Tilapia. I use SlimFast Low Carb shakes (20 grams protein per shake), Isopure 30 grams protein (GNC) powdered Vanilla mix--I put fruit (nectarines, banana, and strawberries w/ 2 splenda packets, Ice,) and also Advantage Shakes. This is most of the things I have eaten since on soft diet, none of this has made me sick. I Take my Vitamins and Calcium everyday and a Potassium tablet about every other day, I get montly B-12 Shots. So far and Praying it stays this way....NO Problems..
