Fed up

I've been doing so much research, and I feel the VSG is the best option for me.  I've struggled for so long with my weight and I am so fed UP!  I have two beautiful children and I just want to be able to play and run around with them.  But I'm scared too!  I know my mind is made up, but you still have the what if's in your mind.  I already know I am heading towards diabetes, I have Lupus that affects my joints.  I am meeting with the surgeon for my first consult next week.  I'm anxious yet nervous.  All I can do is pray for guidance.  My husband is supportive but yet he will make an occasional comment about taking the easy way out.  That frustrates me.  He says he's kidding, but I don't find it funny.  I've tried so many things my whole life.  I'm 37 years old and I am sick and tired of never wanting to do anything, or even go shopping with my daughter because it depresses me to even walk into the mall.  I just have to have faith!!!
