Just passed my first anniversary....

....because my gastric sleeve surgery was one year ago on September 17. I am hovering around 144-145 now. I am living at the Veteran's Home now and eating a lot of different foods than I would normally eat.  Some of it is better and some of it is worse probably, but it is definitely abundant here.  I'm riding my bike almost everyday around this campus too.

I went to see my surgeon a few weeks ago too and had a trans-nasal endoscopy to see about my vomiting. He said that I have a little more scar tissue than normal due to the lap band, but that within about a year, my stomach will stretch a bit and relax so I can eat a little more without throwing up. So that was a relief.

Am excited to go to Chicago soon to my reunion and also to Ohio to see my cousins. Will be nice to hear what they say!
