Peter Billing
I chose Dr Billing before I even met him. My dad and brother both had surgery with him and they had such good things to say about him and their results spoke for themselves. My dad is 3 years out and has lost nearly 200lbs and my brother is 1 year out and is down around 140lbs.

The office staff was so nice and so welcoming. I never felt looked down on or anything. The office itself, is beautiful and the chairs are all wide and comfortable.

Dr Billing is very accomplished at what he does. He is certified in just about everything and has been working in bariatrics for over 10 years.

Dr Billing himself is a sweet man who seemed to want to do anything he could to help me. He explained the surgery fully, answered all of my questions satisfactorily, and never made me feel rushed. He was honest about all the risks and benefits. He gave me tips and things to do while I worked toward approval. He is very kind.

His staff is amazing. His insurance coordinator, Anna, worked miracles and stayed in touch with me every step of the way. Every email was answered promptly and every question answered.

I have surgery in less then 3 weeks and I am so excited and know I will be in the best hands available.

    Congratulations my friend! We have just started the best years of our lives! I look forward to celebrating all our acheivements together! Supporting each other when things get slow or when we feel sad because our hubby's just chowed down a giant yummy cheeseburger in front of us becuase we said it was ok...I pray you have a speedy recovery! 9 weeks post op

STATS:
35lbs down (49lbs since beginning of journey)
22 inches lost
From size 28 to very loose 20 pants
From size 26/28 to 18/20 tops
Ring finger from size 9 to size 7.5

I'm feel great. Have tons of energy. I've started working out which helps with the loose skin, which I do have some of.

I'm working on strengthening my core because I'm going to be having back surgery at the end of the year.

I haven't had any problems with food. My pouch doesn't like peanut butter, it aches a bit, so I avoid it unless it's in a shake.

I eat about 4 times a day and realllly try to get in as much protein as possible. I can always do better in this area, as well as liquids. Vitamins aren't a problem and I get plenty of them in, which we'll see when I have my blood tests done next month.

All in all, things are going great!! I only have 99lbs more to lose, which is amazing to me.
