Surgeon Testimonial

Thomas Sonnanstine M.D.
Dr. Sonnanstine seemed very self-assured that he is one of the best bariatric surgons. This is a very comforting feeling. He's very straightforward, and doesn't lead you to believe that wls will CURE your obesity. This is a lifestyle change and will require a huge commitment on your part. I was mildly discouraged when I first left the office, that this proccess isn't going to be as easy as I hoped, but I would rather discover that BEFORE surgery than after I wake up afterwards.rnrnThe staff is very friendly and helpful. I feel not like a \"consumer\" or like I'm just another patient coming through a revolving door. I feel respected and well cared for, and I would never hesitate to call the office with any questions I have.rnrnI actually feel like the staff REMEMBERS me when I go in, and Taryn is a wonderful part of the staff there.rnrnI would highly recommend Dr Tom to anyone!

some of my goals
on May 30, 2007 10:59 pm

These are some of the goals I hope to achive through weight loss surgery:

Of course to lose weight...duh 158 lbs to be exact.

To take a picture of myself and not want to crop the bottom and sides off so you can't really see all of me.

To stop wondering when people stare at me-"Is it because of my weight?"

To be able to go to Kings Island and not worry that I won't fit on the ride...

To not worry if I will fit in the booth at the resturant.

To not DREAD my vacation simply because I will have to wear a bathing suit.

To not be embarrassed to be at the gym, wondering if people are thinking "What is SHE doing here... she OBVIOUSLY doesnt work out."

To not worry about eating something, thinking that everyone is looking at me thinking "Well, no wonder she is fat, look at what she's eating!" (add: I NEVER use the word fat, but I always imagine other people thinking it about me)

To be able to walk a long distance without getting out of breath.

To play on the floor with my son and not have trouble getting back up.

To wake up in the morning and not DREAD thinking about what I'm going to wear today.

To not fit in the clothes at Lane Bryant (although this will sadden me, as I LOVE their clothes, especially with my discount)

To not avoid mirrors at all costs.

To be happy and healthy and to teach my son good eating habits!!!!
