So I got some really good news today... two things actually: Number one (in the order that they occured, not of their importance!) I JUST FOUND OUT TODAY THAT I'VE BEEN APPROVED FOR LAP-BAND SURGERY!!!!!
i'M SO SO SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted to jump up and down when Taryn told me that I was approved, but I was in the car, so I just did a little seat dance, and let out a little scream, and that was that!
My pre-op history and physical are on August 16th, and my surgery is on August 20th --- the 20th is 1 day after my son's first birthday!!!!! It will be a brand new year for both of us...
The second piece of good news is that my son's father called me today, and he wants to see his son!! I am amazed. Nathan is 10 months old now, and has never seen his dad, so I am thrilled and just beside myself that everything seems to be falling into place. I'm ver very happy today, and I can't sleep, which is why I'm blogging at 3 am!
