April 24th - with my health being questionable and my self esteem low as ever, i have said no more. No more being discriminated against , No more missing special things with my son , No more refusing to go swimming because i would have to put a suit on! Any and every diet has failed , even when i finally thought i had a chance suceed . So i found this site and its wonderful people! with out knowing where to begin i was given great advice and finally made my first call to an office! i have an appt. with Constantine T Frantzides M.D., P.H.D., F.A.C.S. from Skokie IL. I was nervous when i finally decided that bariatric surgery was what i wanted to do , but now i have a new nervousness because i am really taking the next step. Although i do have medicaid and pretty much knew i would have to pay out of pocket , the hospital he serves at takes it and medicaid will cover all hospital fees and pre-op visits!! Then i had the question of where i would get the surgery money and their office referred me to www.carecredit.com and now i have what i need!! It was too simple. I honestly never thought i would have this chance. I will just have to see what happens.
