James Barnes, M.D. Dr Barnes was very staight foward no sugar coating. I have met with him 3 times and no change, great office staff.I cant think of anything that I did not like about him. he emphasizes very much abot aftercare.yes he does have a aftercare program. he address the risk from A-Z.I would rate Dr Barnes a 10 and would recommend him to anyone.both great.

My name is Cassandra C. I've been on and off diets for 10 years. heavest weight has been 243. I've tried all types of diets and nothing seemed to work. so I thought about weight loss surgery and when I say thought about I do mean thought about! sometimes your mind tells you one thing and , your heart tells you another, but thats just life. so last years christmas I decided that I just need to do something with myself. and I thought and thought and thought, until november 2007. I decied to call Dr. Barnes (my surgeon). it all started November 15.

My Story
Hello everyone its my first time back since my surgery. I have lost a total of 18# since my surgery wich was 2 weeks ago,Im not sore anymore, only a little anoyounce on my left side. Im not realy being nausiated much like I was the first week. I got and advance on my diet yesterday at my first preop visit I now can have cream of wheat and creamed soups, and anything drinkable thats sugarfree. NO MORE BROTH! thank the lord Im sick of it. I got up to 64 ounces on my fluids which is so hard to do. the first week I thought I was going to die, but I just turned it all over to the hands of the lord ,that way I know everything is going to be alright! well thats enough for now I'll be back another day, God Bless.....
