Hi, my name is Tina. I grew up in Kent on the east hill. I have always had a weight issue. Always the fattest girl in class. My highest weight was 450 just seeing that number makes my stomach turn. I am divorced and have no children my kids are my two kitties. I am hoping to get the lapband.

Last month I had my appt. with the head doctor and he said he would pass the ok to my doctor. I saw the Lung doctor for my Sarcoidosis and she said that she would give my doc the ok for surgery. The best part last week my insurance gave the approval on the first go. I see the nutritionist this thursday and my surgen this coming monday. My surgery date is scheduled for July 31. I am happy about my decission to go for the surgery. I have lost 75 lbs on my own. A couple family members don't want me to have the surgery since I have lost the weight on my own since October and haven't gained any back. I go to curves and my best bud and I have started walking for cardio. I know this isn't a quick fix but I know I can do it. This last year has been great. It has been so long since I have felt good about myself. I have the best friends and family. It's important to be around positive people and setting boundries and cutting out the unhealthy friends is one of the best things I could of done for myself.  Life is GREAT!
