Ok!! So I am totally bummed. My surgery has been postponed because my silly insurance company has had my info for almost 2 weeks and they still have no decision!! WTF!! I got the call at 3:31 this afternoon for my surgery that was for tomorrow morning! UGGGHHHHH!! Frustration over here. I keep telling myself that everything happens for a reason and there is some reason why its not happening tomorrow but man I wish I knew what the reason is.  It is what it is tho. Nothing I can do now but wait until Next week..July 21st.

 Well! This journey is almost to the huge bend in the road that leads me to the new path I will call my new life. I have finished all classes and Dr appts. All clear from all standpoints..just waiting for insurance to say go ahead on July 13th. I am so excited that it is finally here. I am so READY for a new healthy me. 

 My best friend  and I started out on this journey together at the end of January.  We really wanted to do every step together. All appointments, tests, clearances, and then surgery. Well, we have different types of insurance. Each one has totally different requirements. Mine is one of them that I have to go to 6 nutrition classes. One a month for 6 months. Hers, she sees a nutritionist 4 times in 12 weeks.  She has many appts. with the NP and Endocrinologist. I have one of each. So....everything is way different. She has her surgery date...May 19, 2010. Yay!! I am so happy for her. I am also now at my halfway point in the six months of nutrition classes. YAY!!!!! Now I get to start all of my other appts. We both have already gotten our clearances from the GI doc. She has all of her clearances except from the Endocrinologist. That will be May 10. I am just excited that it is in the works. I will be able to be a happy, healthy, mom. I want to be able to play with my children and be more energetic for my family.
