03/25/06 :Welcome to my little piece of the pie (sorry about using food)here on OH, first OH is the best place to come and learn about having WLS...so enjoy your stay! One of the most common questions I get from mainstream "normal people" yuck..is "How did you get so fat" ? my reply every time is simple, I ate too much, did not exercise, and really did not love myself anymore! today, i eat to fuel my fire, exercise, and for once I love who I am. 03/31/06: I just got my surgery date to have my current problems fixed!!! I've had a drain in me for the past 13 weeks, my last surgery was 12/30/05, I had a panni revision, I've had nothing but problems since, my date is 04/07/06, I can not wait to lead a normal life!! 04/06/07 : One day away from having surgery! I had a fever last night, its gone now, done with all of my pre-surgery check-up, today I just need to pack, other then the clothes on my back I'm just bringing my ipod, I've learned over the years (4 surgeries) not to bring to much stuff. well time for a nap.............. 04/09/06: I made it home! surgery was successful! now its the wait and see game, I didn't have a big cavity in my abdomen like we all thought, it was a bunch of small ones, so they removed some more skin, a mini tummy tuck in a sense, my surgeon says i should notice it, the staff was great, i spent one night, now its time to relax and heal. 04/26/06: I went to see my plastic surgeon today, he took out my staples, and removed my drain!!!!!!!YES, Ive had a drain in me for 17 weeks, I had surgery on Dec 30 05, I than had a Seroma, which is a cavity in my abdomen, which wasn't closing, so on 4/7/6 they opened me up again, it worked out great, they removed the seroma and removed about 5 more pounds of skin, so not a bad thing, in a sense its my third plastic surgery, having the drains was not fun, but for now its over.........thank god.....Doctor McMahon you are the BEST! 04/30/06: Life is grand, the wife and I stayed the night at a nice hotel on Friday night, we had a great time, we spent so much time in the hot tub i started to turn into a raisin. We went and saw United 93, I thought it was done with class, folks were crying, it just reminds me that we are still at war. okay I'm not going to get political here. Back to the hot tub, while we were soaking a young very good looking Sweden couple came in, boy I'm moving to Sweden... okay back to reality, soon I'm going to start my training so I can run a 5K run next year, ill keep you posted. 5/6/o6: well I have a drain in me again, seems to be a normal thing for me, my wife is having hernia surgery on the 15th of this month, we are going to Nevada on the 26th for 3 nights without the kids Yahooo, a much needed get away time, other than that I'm cool, what else can i be. xooxoxoxox 07/11/06: Having yet another ps on July 21st, not really happy about it, seems to take a lot out of me, its to fix a problem from my last one, at this rate ill have ps every other month. 07/16/06: Celebrated my wedding anniversary on the 14th. thanks Brenda for being the best wife a guy could ask for. the 18th is my daughters birthday (10) where has the time gone? having WLS has allowed me to be a better husband, father. And for that I'm the luckiest man alive..... 08/20/06: 3 days until i turn 44! oh man! but hey, its just a number....right?

11/2/06: broken finger is killing me, 9 days away from being 4 years out!
