Hi, I had the RYN-Bypass.  My decision was based on research and friends that had the same surgery. A couple of  my friends had both and of course the bypass was last and the results have lasted.  I encourage you to take whichever will help you and make you feel confortable.  I am 3 months out and already 65 down.  I would like to lose faster but GOD is good and in control.

This is a journey I will never forget.  SInce 1/29/2007 I have lost 62 lbs. I am going down.

2 Months 44 lbs.

I have read many great things about this surgery.  I thank GOD that I made the decision to lose.  This surgery has given me a chance to do things that I did before but with little will.  This website has so many good people that are truely ANGLES.  I am 44 lbs down and counting.  I have gone from a 24 pants to an 18 and from a 26-28 top to a 14-16.  My friends and family are so encouraging and motivating.  Most of all my husband is supportive and gives good tips on how to stay focused.  He is a wonderful friend and support system.  He believes in me when I get discouraged about a lb or 2.  I can't wait to reach the big 50 lb mark.
