Hello I am KES I am 45 and was ready to be a new me . Getting ready for the WLS, I had to loose the 10% so was very deturmind to do more than that. Need to do 27 lbs . The day of surgy I was down by more than needed  scale said 40lbs...wooohooo!! Soooo here I am. A 45 yr old Wife of 25 yrs a mom of three and a grandma of one. I work 40hrs a week . This is me ... good or bad .... so good luck to you on your quest to be a better you!!!

its bee 18 months!!!

It has been 18 months and 110 lbs ... I started a trend and my sister and mom went on  diets ... the last photo is of my baby sis ...she was almost as big as me!! But now she is tiny!!!!  So its been some time but life got busy and now I can run so live life to its fullest!!! Good luck in you adventure too!!!!

My Story

    Hi ,

    I am 45 and had my wls on 2-27-07. I lost 40lbs befor serg. and am on my way to a better me. I did this to be better for my  hubbie of 25 yrs ,3 kids and 1 grand baby.

    Soon my hubbie will join my in the quest for health.We will finish this out together!  

   Just an up-date its 4-23-07 I am almost 2 mo out and down 69lb since I started in Nov. the day after Thanks giving. I'm feeling better and looking better. Hubbie still needs to loose to get his WLS.
    Hello it been a very long time ...LOL I am doing greart I am almost to me 2 yr mark ...2-27-09 and I am still holding at 120 lost am so happy and heathy.... GLAD I did it . We are still waiting for hubbie to get the courage to do it. FOOD is his addition and he is not ready to give it up. Hope and pray it will be soon as he needs it so bad.  Good luck with all you strive to do and be good to yourselfs. It is a work in progress every day ...mess up today well try again the next day!!! Much love.....
