Prior to my surgery, I had huge problem walking any distance, I also suffered from fibromyalgia, shortness of breath, arthritis, and was taking five different medications. After surgery I lost 150 lbs and only take vitamins. I have a new life! I had to go through extensive prepartion for the surgery. I attended a nutrtion class, weight loss support group meetings, and a surgery seminar. I had to also undergo phychiatrical and medial screening before I was approved through insurance for surgery. I really appreciated the prepartion both mentally and physically. Dr. Schmitt is an excellant surgeon. I really had no major complications but GREAT results!
