Surgeon Testimonial

Thomas A. Jones, M.D.
Dr. Thomas Jones (love the name!) knows his stuff. He is straight forward and intelligent. Initially, I liked his name. Then, I heard about two women -- friends of a friend -- who had RNYs done by him. Then I met a ton of people on OH that had him and had positive thoughts. Finally, he was featured in Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine's on their list of 2008 Top Doctors. That solidified my confidence in him. I met him in person April 14th, 2008 and he told me "like it is." He has wonderful aftercare and as of Sept. 2009, I have lost 107lbs with the LapBand.

My Story

After going through the approval process, I got my date: MAY 13th, 2008. I got the LapBand, which I feel is a great choice for someone my age. My biggest problem has been my Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). Because of it, I have been unable to lose more than 15-20lbs no matter what I do.
