At a stand still.................
Ok, sometimes I feel like  a yo-yo up today down tommorow.  I dont regret having surgery I am just a little baffled.  I can exercise and work my tool to the t and my weight is just creeping off.  I am paranoid, because I took a big step with making a decision to have wls.  I have my highs and lows.  I get compliments but it seems like it isn't enough for me.  I guess this is where the mental and emotional drama comes in.  Anyway I am going back to the gym next week I plan to lose some more inches and weight  before I see my surgeon next month.  Gotta keep at it in order to achieve my goal.  P.U.S.H . I always say pray until something happens and in this case both rules apply push until something happens!

Hey Kiki!

I just want to encourage you. You know, I've felt like that too. But I ask you (as I was asked) ----when was the last time you lost this amount of weight and was able to keep it off? I can relate believe me, but you are still losing. Not gaining. That's important.

I have to lose a lot of weight, but I've determined to allow my body tell me the speed in which I do so. Plus I have to watch those "cheaters", like sweet tea. Heck, I admit it. I'm still drinking it. LOL

My point is don't be so hard on yourself that working the tool becomes painful. Remember how dieting was before? You're doing great. Maybe you need to add something to the exercise routine to "shock" your metabolism to burning faster again. Who knows?

Anyway, God continue to bless you and keep posting...you inspire me. Carol

Hey Kiki, I know that I hae not had surgery yet but on the Black American Forum there is this guy named James H who has this wagon plan, and all the people on it swear by it, why don't you check it out. If you look through my friends you will find his profile. I am going to do it after my 6 weeks.

Just wanted to encourage you to keep on doing your thing. If you are feeling better and able to workout on a regular basis that is a huge blessing. Count each milestone you complete as a success. In the beginning I focused on the weight loss and inches until I couldn't do it any more. If I make it to the gym, eat enough protein, etc for the day, I count it as a success on my journey. Keep your head up and keep on PUSHing, the weight is going to come off! Be blessed!
