Monday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. 6 days out.

The Hospital...
Hospital is an overstatement. The clinic was in a strip mall next to Home Depot. Scary and funny all at once. The whole process was like I was back in 1975. All medical supplies, etc was all old school. I kept on reminding myself that war victims get worked on in the dirty outside so I could live through this. Everything about it was awkward and strange, but like the old saying goes, you pay for what you get, and I surely got just that. I wont get into all the gorey details because I am doing fine now and nothing tragic happened.

Recovery and Pain..
Pain was totally manageable. This surgery is a piece of cake vs. the first GBP. I feel alittle uncomfortable but expected so worse. The recovery is going well. Gas is getting under control and pain is just and equally under control.

Weight loss this far...
When I last weighed myself pre-op I weighed in at 181. Day of Surgery I weighed in at 178, and today I am 168, drum roll....... 13 lbs total in one week!!!!!! Looking at others on line, i am way ahead of the game. I will get a fill in about 5 weeks. Right now I have no restriction and am starving to freakin death. I mean I am really really hungry ALL the time. Keeping my eye on the ball for now and will start pureed foods soon and that will make things alot better.

Goal weight...
Setting a goal weight is so hard. I want to be realistic as well I want to push myself. I currently have a goal set at 130, that leaves me with 38 lbs to lose. That seems absolutely realistic. I really want to get to 110 lbs. That would be 58 lbs more to lose. I am short (5'1) that makes my healthy range 100 - 125 lbs. Right in the middle is my hope, but 130 would be awesome as well.

Drinking...
With the first surgery I picked up a bit of a drinking issue. This time around I moving forward clean and sober, not a drop. There are so many empty calories and I make bad food choices when there is drinking involved. I am going to meetings on Tuesdays to remind me why I shouldn't drink. I incorporate it as Alcohol Anonymous and Overeats anonymous. Both addictions I am familiar with.

Plastics....
I am looking at getting some work done in January/Feb time frame. I am going back to 1970 to get the work done, because again the price is right. I am looking to get lipo under my chin to get rid of the second one, cheek/lip fillers, breast implants and a long over due nose job. Its going to be pricey but worth it. I am going to get a lower body lift in May, as long as I'm at my goal weight, which is still undetermined. I would love to get into a bikini. Even if there are a few stretch marks, I'll still jump in one.

Lots of info here, until next time......
