Finally back.....

 Hi there, 

October 2nd will be 4 years since my RNY surgery.  In the first year I lost 176 pounds, I got too small.  Over the next couple years I was able to gain about 25 pounds.  I have maintained my current weight for 2 years.  And I am very proud of where I am now.

I competed in the Mrs. Georgia pageant in June of 2010 and WON.  I was the reigning Classic Mrs. Georgia for 2010-2011 last weekend I crowned my successor.

It was a dream to be able to compete in a beauty pageant.  It was a chance in a lifetime to compete with my daughter in a State pageant.  Ending up both of us WON.  It was a very sad day to give our titles away.  Not many mothers would be able to say, "They were State Queens with their daughter".

My Story

HI there.  My name is Kitsy.  

After years of being obese, I finally decided to do something about it.  At the starting weight of 292 pounds, I had RNY surgery on October 2, 2007.  

So now my new life has begun!!!

Today is 07-25-08 and I am almost 10 months out.  I have lost a total of 142 pounds.  I am doing good but people are saying now that I am too skinny.  Anyway, good luck with your adventure.  May God Bless.



WELL TODAY IS ONE YEAR!!!!!  I HAVE LOST A TOTAL OF 160 POUNDS.

Today is October 31, 2008.  I now weigh a happy 123 pounds.  I can't even remember the last time I was this weight.  I am down from a 26 to a size 4.  I have gone through so many clothes, thank God for friends and yard sales.  My mother is taking me shopping on November 15th for Christmas, she is just buying me clothes, shoes, etc.  I can't wait!!!!!!!!
