Hi Lori
things are moving
quite quickly now,
hope that things go
well for you on your
new surgery date.
Best Wishes for
uneventful surgery
and a quick recovery
Well, here I am 13 days post-op and feeling a whole lot better. I tried to post something as soon as I came home, but all I wanted to do was cry. I was just miserable, and wondering what in the hell I did to myself. But I am feeling better now, my energy is starting to come back, and I can tell I've lost .... dont know how much ( no scale ) but I can tell...and so can other people. I'm still having problems getting all my protein and liquids in. I sip all day and now I'm up to 1 1/2 -2 bottles of water a day. Guess its just slow going. I have no desire to eat anything. Which is a good thing, I'm not even having much of the head hunger going on...that I'm truly grateful for.
My fiancee and I broke up on new years day... happy new year to me. But, we are still best friends and he is still one of my biggest supporters. There is still hope for us, just some family problems that has to be settled. Still hurts tho. That was the first time I've had a hunger pain since surgery... I ignored it and it went away. Havent had one since. Maybe head hunger.????
Going to town today, to do some errands... pay bills etc. We'll see how I feel when I get home.
I'd also like to thank Terri for comming up to the hospital to see me, and for the goody bag of proteins !! Huggs to you gf.
Thats all for now, Hope everyone had a safe and happy new years !!
Huggs,
Lori

Lori, So glad to finally hear how you're doing! I've been checking here pretty much daily. The first few weeks aren't very fun, but they get better everyday. Sorry to hear about you and your fiance; hope things work out. If you ever need to talk just email me or give me a call. Keep up the good work. Congratulations on becoming a loser!

Karey,
You're right they get better day by day. Feeling a bit better, going to drs today, I dont feel as if I've lost anything, but people say I have. As far as Serge ( my fiancee ) goes, things are great...was alot of stress with everything and family problems too, but we decided that we could conquer them together better than apart !!
Will post more when I get back from Omaha !!
