Hi Lori
things are moving
quite quickly now,
hope that things go
well for you on your
new surgery date.
Best Wishes for
uneventful surgery
and a quick recovery
I had my first check up on the 10th.
Everything looks good and I even lost 34 pounds !! Poof..... gone forever :)
I was expecting maybe 20 if I was lucky !!
It really about floored me !!
Now, if I can only stand all this liquid diet until the 21st !!! Getting very bored with it..but then again I'm not hungry...just that something else sounds better !! Oh for a scrambled egg or some cottage cheese !!!!! Only 9 more days !!
Still having a problem getting all my protein in.... I'm finding most of it is disgusting.... its got to be the unflavored for me..even that pushes it some. Maybe its all the sickening sweet ?? That's almost a laugh.... sweets has always been my downfall.
Ohh.. and had my first WOW moment today..... I got dressed this morning, and put on the same pants I wore to the hospital...now of course they were a tad loose, to allow for swelling.....but.... I sure dont want to wear them outside of the house now.... I keep losing them !!!! If I dont keep hold of them they fall off :) :)
I guess thats all for now.. I hope everyone has a safe and happy weekend !!
Huggs,
Lori

You're doing great Lori! I hope I get to see you sometime here in FC! Isn't that the most wonderful feeling--I loved it when I walked out of my jeans that were TIGHT right before my surgery. I'm down 40 pounds now, wearing a size 12 in most things. I can't believe I'm in the 160's. It's been a long time since I've been that small. The liquid diet part was tough. I got so sick of those CIB shakes with the protein powder, I almost couldn't keep them down. It gets better
though, SO MUCH BETTER!
I have to go see Dr. Sudan on Wednesday, so I'm looking forward to seeing what he says about my progress.
