Surgeon Testimonial

Robert Rush
I ad Dr. Robert Rush, I don't think I could have asked for a more caring Dr. he is not the kind to laugh and joke, but takes his patints very seriously. I finally got him to crack a smile when he spent about 20min with me the day after surgery. I had to go back into the hospital for a few days about 10 days after my original surgery and he stopped by to see me twice while I was there. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend him and his staff of great interns.

Wel since I first started this, I have seen my case manager, been thru all my classes, met with my dietician twice, and have lost 7lbs. I was hoping it was more but the dietician said 7lbs was great considering it was the holidays. instead of waiting 6mos. like the orignaltime frame was, it now looks like I will be ready in about 4 mos. YEA!!!!!! I can't wait to start a whole new chapter in my life. I also found out on New years day that I will be a 1st time grandma, I am very excited about that. I want the wait off NOW so I can paly with the baby as it grows older. Hope everyone had a great New years.

My Story

Hi everyone, My name is Cindy and I have been using this site for about 1 1/2 weeks and want to thank you all for the info I have recieved from you. I am 45 y.o and have been married for 26 yrs. to a wonderful man who is Ret. A.F. we have 2 beautiful daughters, our oldest is Annette and she graduated in June from H.S. and moved to TN in July to start college ( it sure is tough when they leave home) and my youngest is Melissa and she is a Jr. at the local high school here and wants to be a vet tech. she is already enrolled in a tech school for next year and will go there part time and part time at the high school for her sr. year. so far she has no plans on leaving home right away...YEA!!!!!  we have 9 cats and 2 dogs, and just moved into a new home in April.....  it to many stairs for this fat person ......lol......  Not for long I hope........ In high school I wore a size 7, but honestly have to say that is probably because I was heavy into speed.  After I got married I have slowly gained to where I'm at now, and I hate it, I have sleep apnea, High chol. High b.p. on anti depression and anxiety meds.  I was Physically fine until about 4 yrs ago. I started taking Metabolife and wham I ended up in the hospital with blood pressure and heart problems. My dr. seems to think it was from those pills,  But, hey they worked I lost 35 lbs in about 4 months.   and have since gained that back, plus about 20lbs.  I'm hoping to be able to get off all my meds after my surgery.  I got my referral last week from my PCP and am going to a Dr.s seminar on Monday the 12th and am scheduled to meet with a case manager on Tues. so hopefully this gets the ball rolling in the right direction.. Well I guess thats about it.          ~ Cindy~
