Lose 100 lbs and become healtly and physically active!

My name is Marianne.  I am 42 years old.  I currently live in Savannah Georgia.  My insurance just approved my VSG surgery, that I am hoping to have in early December.
I have not been overweight all my life.  I was a skinny minny in high school and college.  After college I got married (my wedding dress was a size 10!) started working night shift as a nurse, and moved to different parts of the country with my Army husband.  Add this all together, and the weight added on.  I gained weight after both my boys were born, finally getting up to a BMI of 54!!!!  I weigh about 200 pounds more than I did when I met my husband.  I cannont believe that, but it is true.
I am so happy and thankful to have found this web sight.  It has been with the support and insight of the people here that I found out about insurance, the procedure itself, and the doctor and hospital.  I am very greatful and excited to share my journey.
