Surgeon Testimonial Monte Schwartz, M.D. I am so happy that I chose Dr. Schwartz as my surgeon. He is confident, knowledgeable and caring and I highly recommend him. I only saw him once before surgery and didn’t have many questions because I’d done so much research on this. My surgery happened within 10 days of seeing him (I was self-pay and was able to get the tests done quickly). He has a structured aftercare program, which I like. I feel better knowing what I’m supposed to do each day. It takes the guess-work out of things for me. His office staff is friendly, caring and efficient. I liked them. They made me feel welcome from the moment I called to make an appointment. And Karen, his nurse coordinator . . . phenomenal. Very caring, friendly and knowledgeable. I love her! GOOOOOOAAAAALLLLLLLL
I finally did it. I reached my surgeon's goal of 134. Wow! Now what? LOL. I'm still healing nicely from the LBL. Very little pain at this point - mostly itching as things heal. I have had a few days of feeling swollen. Last night, I felt swollen and tight, but it wasn't awful, so maybe I'll luck out and not go through the swell hell so many others do. Ya never know . . .  .
