So far I've been very very pleased with Dr. Ramos. He's very down to earth, not a stuffy doctor that you can't laugh with. I'm concerned that he doesn't have a ton of experience, but that will come with time. They all had to start somewhere, right? rnrn The office staff at Barix Clinics in Grovesport, Ohio are wonderful! I wouldn't consider another place to have my surgery! Not only were they professional, but friendly. And it wasn't only the staff that I was impressed with. It's how they completely cater to overweight people. All the way down to the extra step to help you get up on the examining table. Extra large chairs, large hospital beds, large hospital gowns, large wheelchairs. I could find nothing wrong with their facility. rnrnAftercare is very layed out. They have a complete program and scheduled times for you to come back for check up visits. rnrnHave yet to have my surgery..will update this more post-op.

Almost Consult Time!!

So let me just say that I thought that Monday would NEVER get here.  Although it isn't YET, it will be soon!  I'm soooo excited!  I'm still having trouble with paying for it out of pocket, cause that is a ton of money.  I just have to keep reminding myself that I'm not spending this money on only myself, it's for all of us.  And this little girl of mine is one of the biggest reasons that I'm doing it.  We took her trick or treating tonight, and I barely made it around the block.  I missed out on all the fun because my back and knees couldn't handle the extra walking to take her up to each house.  So thank God for Kristin, my best friend, she helped me out.  But just think...hopefully by this time next year I'll be running around that block and my daughter won't be able to keep up with me!
