Surgeon Testimonial

John L. Coon, M.D.,
My first impression was that his office staff is very nice and helpful. Dr. Coon is also nice, knowledgeable, and I felt very comfortable talking to him and asking him questions.

When I had my surgery Dr. Coon was great. I had complications but he took good care of me. When I was in the hospital he came to see me often to make sure I was ok. 2 weeks after my surgery I had additional complications and had to go back to the hospital for a small procedure. He came to see me than and it was 10:30pm. I asked him what he was doing in this neck of the woods, and his reply was I had to make sure you were doing all right before the day ended.
I would recomend him. He has very good bedside manner. He even took out my sutchers so I didn't have to wait for the nurses.

3 appointments tomrrow

Well l made some phone calls and I have 3 appointments tomorrow. I will go get a chest xray, I get to go see the hematologist and I have my physic appointment. I am getting very excited. I have also printed out the post op diet for the 1st couple of weeks. I am going to try the all liquids and the very small amounts to see how it feels. I know this will not be easy but I am ready to start living.

Getting through these appointment

Ok, so I have had some labs done, I have my physic evaluation on this Wednesday the 19th as well as chest x-rays. Next week on the 24th, I have my upper GI done. I am getting closer and closer, All I am waiting for is for the Hematology Specialist (because of my sickle cell trait) to call me back with my appointment then all my tests will be done. I am excited.

My 1st Consult

Yeah I took that my 1st step and I had my consult with Dr. Coons in Riverside. He is very nice and made me feel at ease. His staff was very nice. I am very excited. Now all I have to do is get through all these test so they can submit it to my insurance than I will be on my way. I am feeling very . The 1st step towards my new life.
