Wow I can't believe after a year of research and a few months of Dr's apts I am really gonna have surgery. Now that I have only two weeks left I am a mess. I know for sure I want to do this but at the same time the fear of the unknown is really getting me. I am stressing about my kids and my DH and how this is gonna affect them. Then all the what ifs kick in ... what if I have complications,what if I fail and I have put all my family through all this for nothing, what if....... I know in my heart that with out the surgery my family would loose me sooner vs. later due to health issues. I am lucky at this time I am very healthy other than my weight but with my family genes I am doomed to be a very sick person if I don't take control now. This is my way of stopping the pain that will come and I pray God be with me as I go through this journey.
BTW the pic below...I have no idea where it came from or how it got here but I do love the ocean....
