Surgeon Testimonial James M. Dickinson, M.D. I was very impressed with Dr. Dickinson from my first consultation. He said he was concerned that I had too high of expectations for myself--he's right! He laid out all the risks and I left the consultation with lots of information. His office staff was vey helpful. I ended up back in the hospital for another surgery 7 weeks after RNY, and Dr. Dickinson was very supportive and encouraging. I then ended up having an infection, and he was again encouraging. He didn't make me feel like I was bothering him. I feel that Dr. Dickinson is very competent and he speaks with authority. He is very patient and thorough when answering questions.
