Hi! My name is Jennifer and although I've been a member of OH since 2003, I am just now seriously pursuing surgery. In the past I've not had insurance that would cover, now I do - but the company I work for is switching in January. I've been in contact with Kim and Dr. Russell Gornichec's office in OKC and she has been such a help. I'm getting as much done as possible and will submit a request to insurance in January. I'd appreciate all the prayers during this time of guarded excitement. I am the mother of three beautiful daughters and have been married for 13 years to a great guy (even thought he is skinny and can eat whatever he wants - ugghh!). I'm 34 years old and currently living in Kansas, but work for an Integris of Oklahoma. I am hoping to have surgery so that I can be an active participant in the lives of my girls - not just watching from the sidelines. With a BMI of 60+ you can imagine how limited I am in my activities. I pray for the day when I can ride a roller coaster with my daughter - sounds crazy to many, but if you've ever been in a situation where you can't do things with your kids only because of your size, you know how it feels.
