Well i'm officially back to school! I'll be working part-time 3 days a week and then going to school the rest of the time, I've already noticed a decrease in how much I eat while in school, at work over the summer I think I resort to old eating habits, which were eating out of boredum! So hopefully with snacking less and more walking (we have a new building, where all of my classes are, and it's up a HUGE hill... so everyday I have to hike up the monster to get to class....I would have had to quit school if I didn't have WLS, I would have never made it up the HILL!! LOL) I'm also thinking about just using the gym at school, it's free and I walk past it all the time now. I also so they have aerobic classes, but I have to get my confidence up a little to go into that with a bunch of FIT college girls... I will also be pledging this semester to a co-ed Fraternity. It's called Delta Sigma Pi and it's a business frat. Should be fun, i've gone to a lot of their functions last year. If your considering WLS I just want to tell you how amazing it is... I wouldn't change anything for the world!!! Good Luck on your journey's!!!

My Story
Hello Everyone, I'm a 23 year-old College student and Wife! I have two cats: Kitty and Jackson who are adorable and they are my kids right now :) I have been overweight all my life. I think I weighed 101 pounds in the second grade, how embarassing it is to step on a scale infront of all those other kids!
When I was in 7th grade I was diagnosied with Toxoplasmosis in my left eye, which meant at the time I was blind in my left eye. In order to fix this problem, I was given extremely high doses of Prednisone I believe 80mg 4 times a day, nevertheless I gained about 60 pounds from that, but my eye sight returned. When I was in 10th grade I went blind again in the left eye, and had to repeat the horrible process of stereroids! I gained around 75 pounds with that.
In highschool, my weight went from 220 my freshman year to 280 my senior year! I remained there for my first two years of college and then I started gaining again... I went to the doctor to see what was happening, because if anything I was trying to lose weight and that my friends is where my journey began. Kyle -108 Pounds
