    Kymoon, I just wanted to leave a message here to let you know that I am keeping you in my prayers for you surgery tomorrow. I know that it is going to go well and soon you will be a part of the losers bench. If you hear a whooosh it is just us moving over to make room for you. If you get a bit nervous just think of us on OFF and know that we are here for you always since you are now a member of our family. Good luck and I will be seeing you on the bench.    Hello my name is anita. i"ve been married 25yrs in july. i"ll be 50 yrs old in nov.  but fell like 30 something [ in my head]  [body wise, old ]  growning up, i was average weight not skinny but not over weight. in my 20's i had my 2 babies. then i started gaining weight and never stoped.  i would try all the new diets  jenny craig  weight watchers  phenphen  cabage soup u name it i tryed it.  i love to ski [water] hike, camp, ride a bike, snow shoes,love working in my yard. anything outdoors i'm there. about two yrs ago i started to reliaze that my weight was starting to stop me from doing the things i love to do. the boat would not pull me out of the water to ski, the seat on my bike got really small, hiking,  my kneens ankles and back could not take it any longer my breathing was out of control,. felt like i was having a heart attack.  same thing with snow shoeing i would sink farther into the snow and to walk was twice as hard. so i started to make excuses i would say i was sick when it came time to go hiking. i was to embarses to admitt my weight has gotton to the best of me.  i can't  get a handle on it . so at 267 lbs  I WANT MY LIFE BACK   they put me on high blood pressure med. and my sugar is boarder line.  when i found out the military hospitals were doing the surgery, it was the greatest thing besides apple pie  i mean  protein drinks  so i started my pathway feb 27 2008  to the new me

can't wait......5 more long days....i've cleaned house....washed my three dogs ........washed my car.........windows ..curtains .......bed spread.......floors.....walls.......cleaned out my china cabnet.....grandfather clock......i'm driving my husband nuts......i'm tried of cleaning.........

smoking & weight loss

when ever i went on a diet, i would always end up smoking more. well after 37 yrs of smoking, i had to stop. or they would not do surgery. so on april 20 2008 i smoked my last cigre. well i did lose 13 lbs but gain 8 back after not smoking.  so here i'm 2 weeks before surgery, trying to maintain my weight, and not to reach for that cigre. or my mocoa. in my case it is easy not to eat, i would smoke and drink coffee all day, two to three mocoa a day [ think of the money i'll save no cigre. two packs a day  two to three mocoa a day at $5.45 a piece]   for the last 19yrs. it seems i would be skinney doing that yuh!!!   so now i want to reach for a cigre. and think nope can't do that, then i think of food.  i'm craving things that i don't ever eat.  like ice cream, pies, cake, cookies,  i was never a sweet deserts kind of person.  i'm a meat and potoates kind of girl.  so i'm either, not eating and going  for a walk, or grabbing that carrot stick, fruit or something healthy.  and praying that thing will get easier

three weeks : befofe surgy.......  its it going really slow.......
