Tina wishing you the best week as surgery approaches. Smooth sailing through surgery and recovery. Post a note on the boards when you feel up to it after surgery. Hugs, Kathy

I am officially on the LOSERS BENCH.  I did it.  It went great and Thank You to all who helped me on OH.  It went whole lot smoother with your advise and just the chats.  I will be going back to hospital to get g-tube out on wed.  I am glad I did it.  The liquid diet is for the birds...lol but I am doing it cause that's how bad I want it.  TTGod

My Story

Hi my name is Tina and I am going to have the Bariatric Surgery on December 22, 2009.  My pre-op is December 18, 09 which is also my birthday.  I have been over weight most of my life except for when I was real young.  I started to get heavy at age 8.  I was born a premmy 2.3 pounds.   When the hospital called me to see if I was still wanting to do the wls?  YES, I said as I throught my number was finially up #171 in January of 2009 and that was in September my weight was 282 when they called me from the weight loss center at University of Denver Hospital.  I went to my first appt. October 16, 09 I weighed 265.5.  After that I gained back 10lbs.  I learned pretty fast how I couldn't afford eating what ever I throught I was going to miss out on after surgery.  I am now at 264.0 lbs.  I am now doing 3/4 liquid and 1 very small meal focusing on the protein.  I thank God everyday for the abitlity be get the RNY gift and I am going to use it  to its fullest.  I plan on being one of the many biggest loser.

Well I must say it has been a journey so far.  I thank God every single day that I had the RNY surgery.  I have been blessed without any complications so far it has been 1 month and 4 days.  I don't eat much and I am never hungery whaa who!!  I have been
slim n 6 arobics.  A couple of friends get involved with me and we hit in front of the tv for about a hour.  It's great and a whole lot easier.  I plan on putting up pictures soon.  Today I am at 234 lbs.
