iam enbarking on a new journey iam excited and nervous.my surgery date is 1/30/12.iam a wife and a mother of 6 kids.i have had a lot of bumps in the road .i found out throught this journey that i have thyriod nodules and thank god they were benign i had a biopsy done in nov of 2011.i was so scare when i found out about this.my mother who iam taking with me on this journey.she died back  on  march 8,2003.that day was one of the hardest days of my life.she died much to young of obesity.my mother weight off the charts but was not a big eater.some of us suffer from genic.i workout most days of the week calorie diet and still cant lose weight.iam hoping gastric bypass helps me on my journey.
